There’s something magical about New Haven in December—the crisp air, the busy streets, and the perfect blend of history and charm. I kicked off this session driving through the old roads of the city, capturing moments that felt as timeless as the cobblestone beneath our feet.
Our first stop was the iconic Yale University. Between the grand architecture and the energy of students bustling around, it was like stepping into a scene from a classic film. We wandered through the campus, stopping at the art museum for some fun, creative shots that brought out this couple’s playful side. And then there was the Yale library—an absolutely stunning backdrop, with just enough movement from passersby to bring the scene to life.
This couple’s love? It’s the kind of love that feels effortless. They bickered in the sweetest, most endearing way—like best friends who know each other inside out—and laughed like they were the only two people in the world. Their connection was so genuine, so full of heart, that it made every shot feel authentic.
We ended the session at Lighthouse Point Park, just in time for golden hour, and wow—did we luck out. The chilly December air couldn’t compete with the warmth of that sunset. These two braved the cold, even ditching their jackets for those last glowing shots as the sun dipped below the horizon.
Thank you both for trusting me with your story and for making even a freezing day feel so full of warmth and light.
